The dentist examines the joint, chewing muscles and bite, asks about symptoms and tells you whether instrumental diagnostics is needed.

We record joint movement with a condylograph, check how the teeth meet with T-Scan, print jaw models and mount them in an articulator.

We relax the chewing muscles to find the jaw position in which the joint is comfortable.

Splint therapy

We make an occlusal splint and adjust it at follow-up visits. Then — a plan to restore the bite, if needed.

What is the TMJ?
The temporomandibular joint connects the lower jaw to the skull in front of the ear. There are two of them, and they work together every time you speak, chew or yawn.
Why does my jaw click?
Clicking is most often related to how the joint head and the disc between the bones move. The dentist determines the cause and whether treatment is needed after an examination and measurements.
Is diagnostics painful?
Diagnostics is non-invasive: sensors on the face, bite scanning and impressions, no injections or incisions.
What should I bring?
If you have them — X-rays and CT scans, reports from other doctors, a list of medications. This helps avoid repeating what has already been done.
